Al,

Which antenna did you get? BTW, the Delorme GPS's do not accept external
antennas.

My Garmin has an antenna that can be removed and I bought one called mighty
mouse. It gets about 10db of gain. I found it great as the signal strenght
was much higher than I had on the antenna alone. It came with a magnetic
plate and I fastened it to the metal that holds the mirror and that's it.
Went to their web site, and since I cant find the web address, perhaps
someone can find it in the archives of the net since that is where I got my
info.

OK, I posted the web site for the Mighty Mouse a few months back.

Glad to hear it works as well as advertised.

Patrick: It works really well and I want to thank you for posting it. I
talked to the fellow who developed it and he said it was the best one he
has seen or used.
