Reply to Paul Bartz - Contacted Discount Tire. The D rating tire is no
longer made. Your right, it was a different tire. Discount tire now sells
the E rated tire and recommend 65 psi for D rating loads. Other D rated
tires are cheaper.

I have a new reconstructed light 23' (2000 lbs on front and 1520 on rear
tires when fully loaded and all tanks full. I chose the E rated tires and
normally run them at 65 psi for the D rating of 2335 lbs max. I increase
tire pressure to 85 psi (E rating) when I run across the desert floor at
75/85 mph in 100+ F temperature. I feel the additional cost of the best
rated tire is cheap compared to fixing torn up sheet metal when a tire blows.

Chuck:

I'm running Bridgestone 225/75 R-16 R265 series tires and inflate to 55
psi and love the ride. Have approximately 15,000 miles on them since
July of 1997, with no problems.
