I want to replace the house battery with two 6-volt golf cart batteries. =
My 73 Glacier 260 has a battery tray on the passenger side engine
compartment. The tray is about 11/2-in too small to hold the two golf ca=
rt
batteries across the back with the starting battery in front. Before
modifying the tray (which might be a good thing considering its condition=
),
I want to understand if there is some way of tying the generator battery
into the house battery circut? I have plenty of room back there. I
haven't found any thing to suggest that the generator starter battery is
for anything other then starting the generator.
I'm new to the GMC coach, but I've been collecting lots of useful
information from the mailing list.
