GMCMI website hacked?

Why is my web browser being re-routed to some website with a dog that requires me to verify I'm human and allow notifications?



Is this normal or has GMCMI website been hacked?

It's under constant attack as there are so many holes in the site due to poor management over the years. The "prove you're human" was something that was put up temporarily to mitigate the bot attacks attacking all of the leaky unupdatable plugins.

The whole site needs a re-write (like 8+ years ago)...

I use FireFox. I didn't get the "doggie", but got a CloudFlare page asking me to check the box that I am human just now.

We enabled the extra cloudflare protection on gmcmi.com temporarily. We'll need to make some decisions here shortly on the future of the existing website.

I just tried from my work computer and it wouldn't load, with a warning the site is redirecting to a known spam/phishing site.

gmcmi.com it doesn't find my username or login using provided email. I was able to use the link emailed to me at one point and force a reset (would allow me to see my profile), but it wouldn't let me navigate past that anyway...like to see the parts interchange etc.

The two systems are not linked in any way. The website is in bad need of an update. GMCMI recently moved over to a new member management system (never had one before) and we're slowly starting to get the website over as well. In the meantime, the login to the gmcmi.com site is a separate login. Send me a private message with your email address and I'll make sure your account is added on the GMCMI.com side of things.
