This lets me raise and lower the clip. Then I removed the tires and
installed just rims. I then set the rims on a 2 x 6 set on cinder
blocks. Then I put two 4 x 6 x 10 foot lengthwise under the rear frame
to support it.
After the torsion bars were disconnected, I unbolted the frame and
pulled it out with a come along. When the clip was pulled free of the
frame, I removed the cinder blocks and set rims on the ground. The clip
will try to tilt forward but is easily balanced by hand.
The job took about 13 hours. Part of this time was used to (1 Mark
everything that was disconnected or removed. (2 Scratch different parts
of my body while wondering what I was doing. (3 Trying to convince my
neighbor that I had saved $75.00 in gas by having the GMC towed home.
I have probably left out some details. If anyone has any questions
please e-mail or call me at (216) 433-1329

PS Please forgive the double post, I set my beer down on the send
key!!!!!!
