Yep I was.
Are you comfortable with the 12K rating? I know some GMC's push 14K loaded.
I assume there's a good safety margin in there.
I'm just asking because I'm considering snagging one as well at some point

I have too many toys to fit in my shop so I need to jack the GMC up to park
cars under it.
IIRC a set of Ramco mirrors extend the width to a bit less than 120 inches.
It was suggested that I turn the Ramco's to clear but that doesn't work with
the ones I have they are not the flat backed model they are aerodynamic and
turning them doesn't work.
However, It's no big thing to install them with a canon plug and remove them
before driving on the lift.

should mention if you are using a post type lift, you will need wider that

to clear the body (96") plus the mirrors when you drive on. Send a note
to Blaine Merrell and ask how wide his is. You can drive on his carefully
and just clear both side mirrors by about 3" per side.
I'm guessing his is around 104" between posts.

I am comfortable with the 12K rating since it lifted the coach with no strain before we disassembled it, and this is a lift made for commercial,
everyday use, not just a parking lift. The runways are constructed of channel girders and welded steel plates, not one-piece hydroformed with
radiussed corners like John mentioned earlier. The latest lifts are made with the one-piece design, like my 9K and 7K lifts, also from Bend Pak.
And Rob, I just now measured the distance between the posts for mirror clearance and it is 120 inches. The earlier 118 stated was before I got the
lift chains plumb side to side and the proper clearances set, before I drilled the holes for the anchors. I had to move the posts out an inch because
I had set the crossbars on there with zero clearance for the locks in the preliminary setup.

as to your runway width problem i have heard of someone welding an angle to the side of the runway to make the runway a bit wider

That is what we did at the CoOp years ago to accept the rear wider track. if i recall we added about 8' of 4" angle on both outer sides of the lift.
