I replaced the old AM/FM 8 track in my '76 Royale last spring. I selected
an AM/FM Cassette with wireless remote from among several offerred by
Crutchfield. I also replaced the 3 1/2" speakers in the headliner.
Crutchfield (www.crutchfield.com) seems to have decent prices, good
instructions and tech support and quick delivery. The wireless remote is a
must. With it the passenger can adjust easily from their seat and we don't
need to climb up front to adjust the stereo when parked. Also, I recommend
connecting the stereo (and the CB) to the coach battery to reduce noise and
prevent running down the cranking battery by listening while parked.
