Thanks for the kind words. Could not get the link to work. If you go back
to my site you will find that right now I use a LeSharo to get to the
races.
Check out Commodores land Yacht gets ready for a new season.
The Governor here signed a bill that lets me retire after this next
year. I want to go fulltime so I went looking for my first love---a GMC.
Found one bought it and I am now rebuilding it from the ground up.
I have been sending Patrick pics of the whole process. Check out
the paint job on the LeSharo. It gets lots of looks. If I can get some
GMC images I would be glad to play around with some paint jobs.
I must admit I cant even think of someone else doing a paint design
for me but I will be glad to play with some for others. Right now my
GMC looks like the paint was put on in a car wash. Everything is
the same color. Including the stripes on the genset. OH WELL!

Take Care

Arch:

After sending the below item, I had an after thought for you to consider
about the process of choosing/designing a paint scheme for the GMC.

I believe it would be a good idea to do a paint design analysis of the
GMC exterior and features (i. e. windows, doors, etc.). It would take
into consideration the shape of the vehicle and what color would do for
or against complimenting the exterior (e. g. a certain color would
enhance the width, height, etc of the coach, another would do something
else for the lines of the coach, graphics here would enhance ????, etc).

If this was done as a class assignment, the information developed could
then furnished to the GMC Web sites for the benefit of all the GMC
owners in the future. Since such a project is a practical application,
I suspect students would not only be better able to relate to the
assignment but it would incorporate a practical application that might
lead to careers in the industry. As new design techniques evolve and
come into vogue, succeeding classes could become involved again.
Perhaps this graphic design area is a new direction of study for your
Department!!!!!!!

If you are considering a new paint job for your coach, I believe you
would be wise to check out the body shop I mention. Their price is hard
to beat. I know at least two IL GMC owners who had their coaches
painted there.
