Just could not let this ride....

In the common parlance, a sickness is something you want cured because it is at least uncomfortable if not debilitating. I, for at least one, do not
believe that defines being a GMC/TZE owner.

Even those much less seriously afflicted than I will do what ever it takes to continue the condition. It may be more like an addiction that is not a
threat to your continued existence.

I only actually own one coach.
It is one of the smallest and oldest in the community, but two years ago I pulled the front frame out to do a complete engine refresh. That also
included a lot of other betterment. All of that was out of my own pocket, but I would be willing to bet that I could have arrived at some SOB for much
less cost and effort. Then, early last year, we had that little trouble in South Carolina. I could have let the insurance call it done. but we love
her too much. So, I removed the front frame again, but this time to replace it. If I could have found a trusted shop to do that job for less than
the total value, I just might have. No matter how you cut this it is still a marginal ROI. But, she would be worth it to us.

I will admit, it might qualify as a some thing, but it is not a Sickness......

It is far from sick to take care of something just because it has issues once in a while.
Quite the opposite.

You guys know when I am yanking your chain, right?
I have had this malady since GMCs first came out in the 70's. Still
got it, and don't seem like there is any known cure for it. Even guys who
regularly attend meetings for self help and S.O.B. therapy still speak of
it with fondness.
I presently am a member of 4 clubs, and on the Black List, and work
on them daily. I love these old coaches and many of those who drive them
are great friends of ours. I don't want to get well.

Don't worry, Jim. Those of us who are similarly infected understand. No
one else matters.

Jim,

I'm just trying to push that same chain.

What is a real shame is the number of younger folks that hit the FaceBook GMC pages and think that they have found something. They have no idea what
is available.
