GMC Myrtle Beach Rally

There was some chat about us 'Netters' getting together prior to attending
the Myrtle Beach Convention in March.

Any further plans or discussion. I think it would be great for us to be
able to arrive together (and therefore be located close together). Any

The Sunshine Statesmen are planning to meet at Ocean Lakes(about .5 mi
south of Lakewood) on Friday and Saturday prior to the Int'l Rally
officially starting up on Sunday. BTW, arrival time has nothing to do
with your site location. Sites are preassigned and you're given
pre-printed stickers for coach and toad upon arrival.

BTW, the "GMCnet Gathering" will likely be Monday afternoon. We'll post
the precise time and location on Sunday afternoon to give everyone more
notice than we managed at Marion.

If you read the next to last paragraph on the front page of the GMCMI Myrtle
Beach 1999 Spring Convention notice, it talks about "Chapter parking...".
Guess you understand the GMCnetters, in this instance, are not considered a
chapter! And if they were, a coordinator has to contact Ralph Luby by March
1st, to make it happen.

Paul's right - I doubt that GMCnet would qualify as a chapter for group
parking priviledges.

And I'm curious, exactly why couldn't we qualify as a chapter
for group parking??? I have to admit, I would most likely still
park with the GMCSSers (If I get to go). But the group should
not be treated any differently than other "clubs"
