I completely agree. As mentioned in my Tuesday post, there are over 2300
GMCMI members listed in the current directory. (Right, Max?) I would
imagine the GMC brotherhood would jump at the chance to help out a
fellow GMC'er, GMCnet participant or not. At least I hope that's the
case.

It should be mentioned that you need to join the FMCA in order to join
the GMCMI, of which the latter is a chapter of the former. In fact,
IIRC, the GMCMI is the oldest and one of the largest chapters of the
FMCA. (Help me out here, Max)

That said, I'd still love to meet any of you GMCnet crazies if you
travel through Jackson, Mich!

Not the oldest but certainly the largest or 2nd largest!

I think the GMC Great Lakers may have been the first chapter that is
still operatiing. GMC Sunshine Statesmen date back to Feb 1977.

Quite a few of the original chapters folded, due ironically enough, to
flagging interest in the marque!
