This is strange as there has been no change in the way the digests are
being sent. This is the second time in about a week that an AOL
subscriber has reported a problem reading the digest. After reviewing
the offending digests, it looks like multipart messages might be the
culprit. The attachments embedded within the digest might confuse AOL's
mail client, but due to the low number of complaints(compared to the
number of digest subscribers on AOL), the problem does not appear
universal.

My only suggestion is once again to request that postings to the list be
in plain text only and that no attachments be sent to the list.

Thanks,
Patrick

With some email clients, you can select whether you want headers
displayed, but I don't think AOL supports that. I usually recommend you
use the windows "cut & paste" feature to copy the text into a word
processor, such as MS Word which has an "index" feature that will allow
you to keep track of the subject matter.

Hope this helps!

Rob changed the config on his mailer to eliminate the "business card"
attachment. I may have to reapply the dreaded "multi-part" filter if
these messages continue to be a problem.

Another suggestion is to use Pegasus Mail which is free for the
downloading...have a searcher find it for you.
When it comes time to print, you can select from 4 options: with
headers, without headers and two others I can't remember......it's
easy and simple enough for even a dinosaur like me to use.
