Greetings From Lompoc, CA. In RE: to the "Air Bags" & "Hot Dogging". It is a good idea to
loosen the air bag bolts, "Rotate" the "Air Bag" periodically and then re tighten the bolts.
I do this at tire rotation, about 6-9K. In pairs, from rear to middle, middle to front, front
to rear. I know it is a job rotating tires,(I check the "STAR" and pull one hub and check the
brake linings at this time too) it will pay off in the long run, Also, recommend getting a
repair kit for your tubing. Just in case ! You can get the fittings and clamps at your local
NAPA Dealer. They are made of brass and can install quickly and simply. Because the air lines
go between the floor board and the frame that is usually a good place for the leak to occur. I
have put a rubber insulation (piece of hose) over the plastic tubing to assist in detering the
potential chaffing. Seems to work for me! Have a fun filled and Happy 1998. Chuck
