I got the message ahead of the act. Before I had actually tried to glue the
GMC emblem to the glove box, I had only eyeballed it and it looked like a
good fit. The GMC emblem is encased in a plastic frame. In order to get
the "perfect" fit, you have to trim the bottom off the plastic frame, then
using a knife blade, slide it under the GMC letters to cut through the soft
adhesive, which is just a silm strip, removing the GMC letters from the
plastic frame. Now you have the GMC emblem for a perfect fit in the
indentation in the glove box.
