It is pretty sraight forward- just shut off the propane and remove the
whole furnace and open it up. If I recall corectly the inner part slides
out of the metal square cage. Then just access the fan part. Likely if
you took the fan apart a bit of oil or light grease would fix it, on the
other hand if you already have a new one ,you might as well use it.I
found that at 20+ years old, all fans in the vehicle were due for
removal ,cleaning, and re oiling. i did the bath one ,furnace, and
kitchen ones and they all work just fine again.and likely will go for
another 20 years.
P.S. don't forget to undo the long screw outside that goes through the
center of the air inlet and outlet,or you won't move your furnace very
far in any direction!!!

Have Fun,

I believe that to get to the fan of the Suburban, you need to get the
innards out. If you can't get the whole steele box out, I think you can
still get the inner parts out if memory serves me correctly. You will
still need to disconnect the gas line, electrical wires, and unscrew the
long screw on the outside of the vehicle. I think if you remove the end
face plate (inside vehicle, about 12"x12") you will be able to see any
scews that are fastening the whole unit to the floor or the angled wedge
it sits on. When all these screws are out, the whole inside unit should
(I say should, as you never know sometimes)slide out in one piece.

Good luck
