I have to check the shop but think that I have 1 or 2 pullers left. Its
time for me to order another batch of 50 and of course thats a considerable
investment out of my pocket. It would be nice if I had an idea how many
others want a puller either in the hydraulic version of the one that
utilizes the OTC-927 attachment. I have designed the new puller ring so it
can be used in either configuration. This order will be all black oxided for
rust protection. Price for either version should be about the same.
If there is enough interest I will order 50 more.

Tom,

IIRC, you had previously mentioned developing a method to allow the
hydraulic type to push the hub out of the knuckle. Are you still working on
that?

Patrick I have been so busy working on my coach that I have not had a chance
to. I dont really think it will be a problem and I want to make use of the
OTC-927 and split rings as much as possible. I should be able to tackle it
shortly.

Tom,

I understand the "busy" part - just wish working on my coach was what's
eating up my spare time. I hope to get back on it this weekend with a
radiator hanging ceremony.

I would think you would need to design a plate that would allow the OTC-927
puller to mate to the three outer seal retainer bolt holes. I don't know
how you could get the split rings to work in there. It would be nice to
have a ring that would mate to the raised ring on the knuckle that holds the
inner seal for stability.

I'd be interested in a puller if you can come up with a way to avoid using a
slide hammer on the hub. I tried it once and didn't like it.

Ken I just got back from my shop and have 3 more pullers left so will save
one for you if you still want it. I have not finished the design of the
hydraulic puller yet but will finish it after I return from florida sometime
in early March. I also need to design the adapter to pull the hub from the
knuckle using the OTC-927 attachment.

I need your full address and send a check for $200 to cover split rings and
adapters, OTC-927 and postage to:
