Well folks,

I hadn't planned to do this, but it seems that I'll need to put a new
genset into the Royale. I know that Jim Bounds swears by the Honda. I'm
looking for some alternatives. Any suggestions?

While I'm on the topic, I also need to install a replacement heater. Since
I plan to use the coach in colder weather I need to install a decent
propane heater. There's nothing there now. What was the original equipment?
Same as PB?

Henry

Hey Henry, have a look at my genset refurb on my web page in the 'odds and
ends' section. You could do the same with an Onan 4000w Micro Lite. Same
dimensions, but enough to run 2 ac's. You even have extra room in the locker
and it weighs about 350 lbs less than the oem setup. Darren
You were also asking about the triple cabinet last year, for the rear. I am
tackling that over the next couple of months. Pictures will be up as
available. Darren

One more thing. The existing remote, start/stop switch may also work with the
new one. Mine does. Darren

>think about this henry. Onan turns over at 1800RPM and the Honda at 3600RPM.
Yep. I prefer lower RPM to reduce vibration noise and exhaust noise. OTOH,
Jim's Honda installation is pretty quiet.

Henry,

I might actually make it out of the barn this time.

Planning to head south tomorrow and will be Sacramento, Stockton,
Bakersfield, LA between next week and June 4th-ish.

Just in case we're anywheres close and you want to have a look/listen re
Generac.

Just a thought.

Cheers
