Gateway air compressor

Netters,

Does anyone have one or know anything about the "new style" air
compressor tht Gateway Motorhome Company sells. Gateway's most recent
parts and price flyer lists this pump for $159 which would make it price
competetive with the Danas, but I'm more interested in how it would
compare performance wise. Thanks.

I checked the pics of your new pump as shown on Patrick's site and the
pump does look just like the old Danas. The heads on your Hadley may be
the new poppet valve design which I believe is suspose to be an
improvement on the old Dana flapper reed valve design. From the our
group's discussions on air compressors I suspect that the poppet valves
work better and the pumping performance is improved as a result.
