I thought I read something about a new furnace and mounting method that
had an adapter that allowed connection to the existing outside vents
without tilting the furnace on a late model GMC.

Is the DuoTherm still available? Mine is misbehaving. It's 39 years old,
and I think I'd just as soon replace it if it's an easy chore.
Has anyone seen a write-up of a replacement installation for the DuoTherm
with another brand?
thanks,

Ron

Keep an eye on craigslist for any later model pull out for like $250 and
modify what you have to to install it and be done. Furnaces were not
designed to last for 40 yrs in a moisture rich environment.

Ron,

If you decide to replace that duotherm, I'd like to have the
solenoid valve in the gas train. I have one with an open in
the actuation coil and there are no replacements.

Gary,

You should contact Erv Troyer in La Grange. He was the service guy for them before Dometic bought them out.
I sent him an arm load of parts (delivered by Forest Crow) and it might have a good valve in that collection.
