Furnace trouble

If all that was done was to vacuum the plenum area without removing the
burner, I sincerely doubt that it was that effective. It is no job to remove the
burner and clean it. The burner is made of cast iron and over the years, due in
part from condensation and partly from moisture present in most propane, will
rust the orifices. The orifices are simply slits cut in the burner and it is
really quite simple to clean them. I used a hack saw blade to clean mine, and it
made as huge difference in the adjustability of the flame. Good luck

You should not be able to get combustion products into the heated air..
The SOLAIR is sort of famous for this problem and as Arch says, if you are
getting alarms from your monitor it is time to check into the new furnaces.

gary , and many other have done replacemets. I have not kep these on the
list but I am sure they would be glad to send them again.
