I think you got most of your bolt questions answered in later posts. I had
some other work to finish last night, so I wasn't online.
Darren did a good job of explaining the weirdness of the intake and exhaust
on furnace. I haven't had mine totally removed, so I wonder if it really is
just put together with chewing gum and grey tape. We don't use the furnace
more than once or twice a year, and our CO detector has never went off. Now,
I wonder why.
Phil Stewart, as mr. c (Al Chernoff) asked, what brand cat heaters did you
use, and how did you deal with oxygen depletion and CO accumulation?
I travel with nieces and a teenage daughter (and frequently their friends)
so one concern I've had with a cat style heater is exposure to hair spray. A
moment's inattention to what's going on would seem to create a nuclear war
head on 6 wheels.
I'll look tonight for Catalytic heater info, and have someone at work call
to see what the big boys that make SOBs are using.
