Fuel tank switch

I would like to know how the switch works on the dash for the fuel. One
way draws from one . Which one is the main tank? . How does the reserve
work? I put two new floats in and only one is reading please dont tell me
that I have to drop the tanks again on my back.

The rear tank is the main tank, and it also feed the generator. The
fuel selector valve is off until the aux. tank is selected.
