Hi All,
Tried to get rid of the play in my front wheel bearings, took one side
apart - the Tom Warner tool worked GREAT, I don't know what I would have
done without it! - only to find out that the hub is slightly tapered and the
knuckle is worn - I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, seems to be a common
failure.
So here are my questions:
Should I send my Toronado knuckles to ?Ken Thoma? to have them
reconditioned? How much is that compared to buying new ones?
Who has the best deal on hubs?
The brake rotors listed on gmcmart for $26.55 - is that too good to be true?
At that price I think it would be foolish not to replace them while
everything is apart.
Any suggestions would be appreciated - I'd like to keep this as inexpensive
as possible without compromising safety of course.
Thanks,
Peter
