As most of you know I bought two Transmodes. Well, when the front
caliper locked up we destroyed a front rotor. Are these a stock GMC
part or are they a special size? Can I get one from the local parts
store or do I have to go to Golby, Cinnabar et al for them? I have
a part # from the GMC parts book but I thought I would ask here first.
It can not be turned down as there is a sizable score that is too deep
to turn and still have enough for good braking.

Thanks

Marcus

I have found the rotors and calipers at my local parts store. Believe it or
not calipers were Raybestos RWC 5030 & 5029 at $29.95 each. $5.00 core
charge so I kept the old ones. New Carb from Tomco, $234. not bad
My rotors were fine so did not buy them, but they were equally cheap as I
remember. By the way I have decided to completely rebuild the front end, and
not as expensive as I had thought.
