you need to be aware that the circlip grooves on some toros are different
than those on the GMC

I have both of my shafts out at a re builder for a
quoted price of $200 each. I made the choice to have
them done professionally for about $112 each more than
it would have cost to buy the shafts however the
"professional rebuild" has some advantages. I do not
have to worry about tearing a boot while swapping
joints. The re builder provides a warrantee (not to
long but better than nothing) and I don't have to play
in that yecky grease. Bottom line is when I put those
babys in I am not going to worry about how good a job
I did and as the re builder has a good reputation I
will assume he did a good job.

Ken I made a mistake in my haste. Its not the driveshaft circlips that are
different. Its the inside CV joint o rings on 66-68 toros. All others are
the same. Sorry about that.
