Thats a nice gap between the frame and the body there. About 1/2" at its widest!

When the floor is out is the best time to fix the cheeks.
since my 75 has no frame behind the beltline driving screws in wont work, its not the best solution anyway.
So I cleaned and sanded the frame and the body, applied a generous amount of 3m 08115 panel bond, then clamped it.
This is how the factory did it.
Time will tell if i got the frame clean enough!

Many years ago I fixed my 1976 coach by drilling through the belt line behind the black rubber and bolt and nutting it to the frame behind it. It required removing the inside panel to install the nuts and fender washers.
 
It must have been a different year, mine has no frame behind the beltline, you can see the screws for the beltline 3 inches above the floor in the pictures above
 
I am sorry but that has been at least 15 years ago and that is all I remember. I pulled the inside panel and from the outside drilled some holes through the chrome strip and inserted bolts. Then I puts nuts on the inside and pulled the fender in.....Sorry.
 
There have definitely been some major framing differences in that area over time. I don't recall the exact details, but I pulled the nose off my '78 and put it on my '75. I remember the structures underneath being very different, with the '78 being a more sophisticated design.
 
Check for the location of any wires in the wall before drilling holes. I saw a video where someone was drilling holes to pull in his "chipmonk cheeks" and smoke came out. I believe he hit the big #2 cable interconnecting the house and chassis batteries.
