I'm giving away a swamp cooler that fits into a GMC engine cover. It worked well in low-humidity Nevada heat (over 100F outside in 2022), stores inside a GMC OEM roof pod and pulls shaded cooler air from under the coach. Swamp cooler components are about 36"x30"x8" without including water storage. System was designed for a 5 gallon Sparklets-type water bottle. Shipping weight would be about 26 pounds.
Shipping costs are probably too high and this doesn't function in any region with high humidity. If you boondock in arid areas of the western US, this uses less electricity than any A/C.
I've learned a lot about solar power since then. I'm upgrading the house inverter & battery to 24v (as some forum members suggested in 2022). DC-powered rooftop A/C has now reached an attractive price/performance point.
Photos below show it from both sides, disassembled for storage. This 2022 post shows how it fits in a GMC.
