Hi folks. It looks like my two rooftop air conditioners would be a perfect place for a pair of 50w flexible solar panels. I know that young solar guru Will Prowse doesn't recommend flexible panels. He says they have bad heat dissipation and lose their efficiency in less than a years. But I can get a pair of EFTE mono crystalline panels from AliExpress on Black Friday for a hundred bucks. They measure less than 2' square. Does anyone have flexible panels installed? If so, what is your experience? Thanks for your time and consideration. Kind regards. David.

I have 2 flexible panels on my roof and I have in fact already seen efficiency loss, and mine lives in a barn 98% of the time.
I wouldn't particularly recommend them. They do work, but they put out about 40% less than they did when I installed them a couple years ago.
Annoying for sure.

That being said I haven't tried that particular bversion, mine are the white 100w models.
