flashing when passing

Those were the good old days in Germany - nowadays flashing your lights at
someone to get him to move out of your lane can get you an expensive ticket
or even your license suspended.
Drivers in Germany often flash their lights to warn oncoming traffic of one
of the infamous "photo radar"
speed traps, a common courtesy that is, of course, illegal.
So are radar detectors, police scanners and just about everything else.
And by the way, filling up one of our GMCs would cost about $225 over
there...
Sorry for bashing the Old Country, but Tom's post just reminded me how lucky
I am that I don't have to live over there any more!
