Arch........Being as frugal (cheap?) as I am I try to fix some things
before I throw money at them. Go get a bottle of fresh contact cement at
the hardware store and borrow your woodworking buddy's woodworking clamps.
Swab the cement on both surfaces, the wood and the foam, let it set up as
per instructions and then stick it together with the clamps. Be sure and
use some plywood over the pad itself so you don't punch a hole in the foam.
Leave the clamp in place for a day or so. It works! Please note: Hang red
rag over exposed clamp or your wife will crack up when you stagger into the
house with the blood running into your eyes. The exposed clamp smarts when
you whack your head on it. I know.

I would be interested in the info on the pads. I have all of mine but
they are very warped.
