There has been a great deal of talk about one or another fire
suppression system for our GMC's. One that you might want to look at,
is printed in a how to story form in the August 1998 Summit, Street and
Strip Catalog. The story begins on page 27. You can probably get a
copy of this story from them, (330) 630-5343 or permission for me to re
send it to the GMC mailing list. The article is called "Fire department
in a Bottle" Summits system uses Halon 1211. I am not sure if I would
be violating any laws if I would send it with out their permission.

It is a good article and shows exactly how to mount and hook the system
up with one or two activation's. The price's are listed on page 255 or
this catalog and range in price from $297.00 for a 5# bottle with pull
activator, a push activator is $275.00. A 10# bottle with the same
activator, and aluminum tubing is $459.95. Same products as above but
with with steel tubing and a pull activator is $299.95, push activator
is $279.95, a 10# 462.95 with a pull activator. A spare 5# bottle is
$232.69. Chuck
