Fan belt width these days

Yes, they have them but they are 3/8" wide. I went, I looked, I measured, I ordered from vbeltguys.com (6.95 USPS shipping). I just hope they 7/16"
wide.

Well done. Everyone says to adjust to 1/4" deflection. Well, that all depends upon how much pressure you apply. Are you saying push as hard as you can
and get a 1/4"?

I say that's just until you hit major resistance with your finger. A girl's
1/4" will probably be less tight.
It's like a fly ball to center field. Center field covers a lot of
territory. So, ballpark close is close enough.
