I know this has been beat to death in past threads but rather than searching
the archives I was hoping someone could give me some quick advice regarding
exhaust manifold gasket replacement. I just had the exhaust replaced by
car-x. Yes the pocketbook damages were painful but the worst part is that
the manifold gaskets are leaking and they don't do that type of work. Can
the gaskets be replaced from up top or is it more desirable from below?
The manifolds have gaskets that are blown in the center. Should there be
gaskets at all? If so what gaskets have a proven track record?
Thanks,
Mike
