Ragusa makes the cast aluminum one that is so popular. It is nice
looking, trouble free and pretty strong.

If you need Ragusa contact let me know.

Mine is home made and swings out of the way and locks. It is very
simple. Two pieces of bar steel, 1/2 inch by 14 inches. the step
plate, aluminum bolted to the cross members. The cross members bolted
to the frame with grease fittings at each point. A spring to pull the
step out from its stationery place and a lock that is swiveled to open
with the touch of your toe. Works great. I was thinking of installing
a door light at the bottom or the step to illuminate the step at night.
The (porch) light if you will is not adequate to shine down on the
step. If you would like I could sketch the design and send it to anyone
interested. Chuck.

Ragusa sells some nice one. I have on on mine and it folds when I am traveling.
