Not realy engine fires, but rather fire in the engine compartment.
I was reminded again today as a towtruck was loading up a burned hulk of an
automobile.
Add to that my viewing 2 burn spots on the shoulder and a U-Haul with fire
department still in attendance just on this trip alone, it brings the desire
of some kind of fire suppression system back onto the front burner.
Perhaps some newcomers have some ideas... perhaps there's enough interest so
that we might come up with specifications to put out to tender?
I know that I could put a system together via the West Marine catalog but I
can't help but think that a true fire suppression specialist could build us
what's needed.
