I am considering new carpeting in the cockpit area. What is the original
method or a better method of covering the engine lid so that it is easy
to open yet look good and seal out noise, heat etc. Do you bind the
piece that covers, does this cause you to trip over it. Do you include
the step in this piece so you don't catch you toe on it. Do you vel-cro
the step area down.
I am replacing my black water tank, tryed to repair it but leak was
around the toilet flange on top of tank. Glad I pulled it down, residue
was clinging to frame and brake lines and corroding them. No serious
pitting, but plenty of rust. Cleaned, pressure washed, rust converter,
primer etc. Something we should look at once in a while.
