Gene, a week or so ago someone posted that they had good luck with the
Caspro fuel pump made for carburated systems. It puts out 5-3/4lbs and
has built in fuel bypass, good self-priming. It is on page 18 of their
GMC parts catalog or 800-877-1911.

P.S. are you near Chattanooga? My daughter lives there.

I have been using a Fuel pump from autozone and the top pressure is
either 9 or 11 which I understand is too much.I put a regulator on it
and it worked great except when I started going up a long grade. Vacuum
dropped down to about 7 or less and it started missing from lack of
fuel.
I removed to the regulator and it now works fine but I think I'm
flooding the carb. how about some recommendations on other electric
pumps with the proper
pressure.
