Has anyone attempted to replace the cooling fan running off the engine with
an electric type fan? I am talking about the types one might see on
performance cars. They have models that move up to 2000cfm of air, and are
very thin. With most of my miles coming on the open highway, I would
anticipate few instances where I would even need to turn on the fan.
I have done this on some other vehicles, with a slight boost in horsepower,
a lot less noise, and less clutter.
Is there any good reason this would not work? Any thoughts?
Tanks in advance for any input, Tony
