It was on a 75 GMC. Worked fine. Someone had used 16 gauge wire for it. Anyone ever thought of using a fan like this. As a booster fan? Bob Dunahugh

Well...I put a fan in front as a booster for A/C and even made the condensate drain drip onto it to spray the condenser. It makes a difference in
traffic to the engine temp but may in fact obstruct some flow at highway speed if it's not running. It was somewhat of a disappointment for all the
work I did to install it. Especially when I turned it on at highway speed and the electrical spike shut the ignition module off for part of a second
and that exploded the muffler. Guess I need to put a cap/condensor on the power feed or ground. Motor home/early iron all need the big diameter
Mercedes Benz fan ($$$)to make a difference. Don't know if any electric will substitute for engine driven unless you are using an aluminum radiator.
