John, sorry if this has already been covered (I confess to not reading all
the posts on this thread), but I have a suggestion.

Would she go if you had a new SOB ? If she would, rent one and take a short
trip to some place she'd like to go (Mall of America, Branson, MO,
whatever). Maybe she'll take a liking to RVing and give the GMC a second
chance.

If she won't go, you'd better resign yourself to a future without the GMC
or one of traveling by yourself.
