DURANGO

Cant make Durango. Grand Lake is on the agenda, if my back and the GMC
allow!

Everyone traveling the next couple of days, to Durango or anywhere else in
the west, please be aware of the rising temps. We are in the middle of a
pretty strong heatwave. Durango itself is in the 80's but 100's prevail in
all directions from there. Don't push it and PLEASE by all means BE
CAREFUL.
To those of you coming to Durango, see you soon. To those of you not,
pictures to follow.

Thank you all so much for the kind words. Jo and I had a blast putting the
rally on.
Sorry this response has taken so long. My ISP has somehow lost my password
and is not open on weekends. I finally remembered my daughter is on the
net(so she can monitor what the old man is doing) and had her forward the
last digest since Friday morning.
If any of you have never hosted a rally, give it a try. It really is a lot
of fun. GMCers are the greatest.

New subject. Gene, it was the head gaskets that blew on Tom's coach. He
lost compression on the two inside cylinders on both sides. I just this
morning got a call from him in Craig CO. The trip from here to there went
great,BUT----last night a car drove by a relatives driveway where they were
parked and threw a rock into the rear window. I suggested he call Cinnabar
tomorrow. I'm sure they will be glad to get home from this trip.
Hope to get my ISP problems fixed tomorrow.

For Jerry Hoxsey & Emery Stora

In the for what it's worth department.

The two of you (IICR) helped me determine that my
Battery Boost solenoid was not functioning.

Today I replaced it and the Battery Boost Switch
now works.......

Thanks for your generous help...

It was a delight to meet the two of you also. I now know who
the GMC Domino King & Queen are.

If we are ever in Tusla we will be sure and look you up.
Enjoy Lunch with the lunch bunch. Wish we were there.

Enjoy.....
