Kay,

The information I got from Paul and Patrick in April about where to get Doug
Thorley headers from HPC is as follows:

HPC, 550 W 3615 S, Salt Lake City UT 84115, 800-456-4721, Ext 18 (Cory
Ure, sales manager).

Invoice was $490.00 (no breakdown of costs) plus shipping.

As I recall, coating was ~ $215.00.

They have a web site at http://www.hpcoatings.com

I bought and installed a set of them as will as free flow mufflers and a 3
inch tail pipe. I would highly recommend anyone to consider this
modification as it makes a big difference in power and has held up well. I
have put about 7,000 miles on the GMC since installing them. I used Mr.
Gasket all copper exhaust manifold gaskets and used the red RTV gasket
sealer on both sides to the gaskets. You need to make sure that your heads
are reasonably flat where the headers attach to them. If the heads are not
flat you will have problems again. I had one head that was dished out and
was able to true it up with a die grinder. I had Dale at Sunshine General
Store in Castell, Texas install the headers and exhaust system. I would
highly recommend him as he does excellent work. His phone number is 915
247-3616.
