Kodak offers several "professional" level cameras - one based on a Nikon
N90 and, I _think_ another based on a Canon product. I also saw one based
on an N5. Course, these things cost mutliple thousands rather than
multiple hundreds :^). I use a DCS 420 at work and it does a creditable
job - not equivalent to film but not too bad. One thing you may want to
remember: the higher resolution cameras will allow you to print the images
on one of the several inexpensive photo quality inkjet printers at near
photographic quality. You can't do that with the ones offering poorer
resolution. For viewing on a monitor though, anything over about 2
megapixels is overkill - IMHO. Anyway, check out:
