Hi guys-
I think it is smart to ask all the known questions ahead of time rather
than after- unfortunately it often happens the other way around. When I
got mine a few years ago, the instructions give one the option of
mounting on the cooling line coming out of the torque converter or on a
trans pan bolt. the one measures "Mean tranny Temp" the other measures
oil temp as it leaves the torque converter. If mounted on the oil line
one bends the thin sensor around the oil line and clamping it with a
small hose clamp. Works fine.
Originally I mounted it under the dash eyebrow-very successfully, and
simple; I have now built mine into the dash, as Jim Bounds did-looks
good but a fairly big job to get it just cut in rightly, without messing
things up.
