Nate,

27 deg. tonight? Life does not have to be that hard! Of course, you may
have to dodge a few natural desasters, salt water encrosion & tourists with
rental cars they thing of as bumpercars!

I do agree with you on one point for sure, dog houses of any type stink. I
like an open floor between the 2 front seats.

Technically speaking I also agree that using an inverted manifold is not
optimum and swedging a slung low air cleaner cannot be good for breathing
but it does work to some degree which satisfies some workable criteria.

This is a classic catch 22 and if you have seen both sides the situation is
all the more frustrating.

Pick your poison,

Jim Bounds

Jim,
At least we don't have hurricanes, sink holes big enough
to swallow houses and a shortage of drinking water up here
in the Arctic.

Thanks Gene. But it's aluminum. Weighs less that way. Darren

Just to throw another idea into the fire.
A Classics member has raised his coach up 2.5 inches off the frame. He
wanted more room for bigger tanks. He still needed to raise his engine
cover a little so he raised the whole cockpit floor another .75 inch.
Hope he doesn't hit hit head on the ceiling!
