If you are talking about the Dana compressor, they are not to be lubed....

Sounds like a rebuild, is easys to do and John is the guy to contact.

Chris,
My Dana once made an awful screeching noise that I first assumed was the crank bearings getting ready to seize. When I
took it apart I found that the cylinders were badly out of time. I discovered that the small gear pulley on the motor
shaft was slipping on the shaft because the allen head set screws had loosened. I used Loctite and re-tightened the
screws. This stopped the screeching and because I got the pistons properly timed, the compressor pumped a lot better
too. I hope your fix is as easy as this one was for me.

If you are referring tothe engine air compressor then it sounds to me
like a loose belt. It will screech when it has to speed up to catch up
with the pulley. Check your manual on how to measure tension and how to
tighten.

If you are talking about the air suspension air pump then I would guess
the shaft or bushing in the motor has lost its lube. I don't think you
can just oil it. It is a bronze bearing and will most likely need to be
replaced.
