I just noticed grease in the front drivers side wheel well. Closer
inspection revealed a torn cv boot. Can I remove and replace the axle or
boot by just pulling the tie rod and lower ball joint and swing the mess out
of the way to get at the axle or??? If I go the route of replacing the
entire assembly what part is required? A toronado? Has anyone used one of
those spit boot replacement kits? I believe this has been addressed in the
past but couldn't remember the recommended approach.
