I should think it would be just as safe as having an all propane stove.
Gaggaenau (sp) makes one and it seems to me Al Chernoff has one in his
home. These brand is quite widely used in top of the line boats and
motorhomes.

Hi Jerry

The PO of my coach converted the stove to have 1 electric burner and 2 gas burners. It is not a
custom stove but a conversion. I would rush out and take a good look but it is -25 degrees. I am
seriously considering hibernation until this sub-human weather passes.

I did not look inside the top but it appears he pulled out the gas valve and added a electric
control in its place and removed the burner and added a drip tray and electric element.

MaytagSam,
I have the oem stove for a 74 Canyon lands. I never considered the change,
or addition to, of a gas to electric oven. Would a combo be feasible? Or does
it have to be one or the other? But it sounds like a great idea.
The stove top should be 2 electric burner/2 gas burner. All this for the
convenience of saving on fuel and utilizing site hookup for whenever we are not
boon docking. An oven combo would be great
it if it is possible.
I didn't know which route to go in considering 110 or 220V for installation.
Whichever would work the best.
Also concerned with efficient insulation application.
