cure for hubcap creaking

Gentlemen:
I'm the one that asked the question in the beginning. I tried the duct tape
route (read about doing it in the GMC International newsletter). It seemed to
work a little, but I still had the noise. Maybe I should have been more diligent
and careful when applying the tape. Also, I didn't do all the wheels. Just the
ones that I thought were making most of the racket.

I like the original wheel covers as well. Maybe what I should do is take them
all off. Give the wheels a good cleaning and then apply the duct tape to all the
wheels and see what happens.

By the way, besides nylon tie wraps, my favorite tool is duct tape in the 200 MPH
variety. I always carry lots of tie wraps and duct tape. I don't think you can
leave home without them.
