Greetings to all GMCers in the GMC East Area. (ie Pennsylvania south to Tennessee and everything between) Just wanted to let you know about a special opportunity that's taking place next month in Michigan. Everyone should know by now about the GMCMI rally that's taking place from September 19-25 and concluding with a rally at the last standing building where the GMC's were produced 50 short years ago. (https://www.gmcmi.com/upcoming-events/) I'm putting together a special convoy to drive out together from Virginia to Michigan and back. If you're interested in joining us, find the details below.

Right now we have 9 coaches that I am aware of that are coming from VA/MD/PA. There may be some more to join us further down the road to MI. The route I'd like to take is I-81 to I-68 to I-79 to I-70 to US-23 to I-75 back to US-23 to I-96. That's about 600 miles from Hagerstown, MD to the fairgrounds in Michigan. We're planning on making this a 2 day journey since no one likes driving 10+ hours in a single day. We'll be meeting at 10am on Sunday September 17th at the Valley Mall in Hagerstown, MD. (17301 Valley Mall Rd, Hagerstown, MD 21740)

We're shooting for a small campground (nationaltrail.com) just outside of Columbus, OH on Sunday about 6 or sohours from there that has power hookups but not much else amenity wise (which is perfect for our group). I'm making arrangements with them currently. They have plenty of power hookups for all of us and the cost is very low for the night. That would put us about 5 or so hours away from the MI Fairgrounds that we can make on Monday.

Please let me know if you would like to join our group by contacting me using the email below. I will also send out a link closer to when we're leaving that will let you join/follow our journey virtually.

As always, please let me know if there's anything I can do to help y'all enjoy your GMC more.

Keep on GMCing.
